These are pictures from the Olympic Green after a rehearsal for Opening Ceremonies. The tower is called Ling Lang, it’s where some of the broadcasters are having their studio shows from. I know CBC has a set there. There is also a camera that will shoot the National Stadium during the Ceremonies. I have also heard that Bush will be in the tower for Ceremonies but I don’t know for sure.
